Abby goes to the office

Abby couldn't go to daycare of Valentine's Day so I brought her to the office. Imagine how hard it was to get any work done with this cuteness going on all day!

Zoe's 3rd birthday

Daddy made Zoe a superhappyfuntable for her birthday!
Zoe, Abby, William, Campbell, Aidan, Shannon, and Mallory celebrated Zoe's 3rd birthday and had a great time doing arts and crafts on the superhappyfuntable, and breaking the Dora pinata!

Flubber!

Remember "Slime" from the 80's that came in a garbage can?  Flubber has the same feel...

How to make Flubber

Batch 1:  

1 1/2 C very warm water

2 C Elmer's Glue

Liquid Water Color

Glitter (optional)

Batch 2:

2 tsp Borax (I couldn't find Borax laundry detergent, but Jamie found Boraxo hand soap which was the same stuff)

1 1/3 C very warm water

1.  Mix batch 1 in bowl

2.  Mix batch 2 in separate bowl

3.  Pour batch 1 into batch 2

4.  Grab flubber and work for 2-3 minutes

Flubber will keep in a sealed container for 2-3 weeks

Flubber may stick to clothes, etc. but is easily dissolved by vinegar (phew!)

We just made our first batch today and it turned out perfect!  Zoe played with it for hours!

Try stretching it around a large straw and blowing a bubble with it.
